Ink Duct Conversions

The majority of standard ink ducts come with a solid one piece blade with no guide on the setting key, side cheeks that leak and when keys are adjusted they also affect the setting of the neighbouring keys.

Servo control ducts are not  cost effective for 1-2 colour machines, the solution is an Ink Duct system that:

• Has a segmented ink blade so that neighbouring keys are not affected during adjustment.
• Each Ink key has a DIGIT numbering unit fitted so that a manual record of the actual duct opening can be recorded on a job card for future repeatability.
• Side cheeks are spring loaded and form a seal around the duct roller, not down the side and can be removed without any tools to enable quick and easy duct cleaning.

The conversion can be made to all Crabtree models of press and for other press manufacturers on request.
